How to Install ClockWorkMode Recovery on Xolo A500S
Xolo A500S is one of the successful mid range budget Android
phone from Indian Manufacturer Xolo. A500S is the cheapest Dual core Android
device and comes with 512MB RAM with 4GB internal memory.
If your phone is rooted and you want to flash some custom
ROMs on your Xolo A500S then you have to install CWM Recovery on your
phone.There are two ways to install CWM Recovery, one is using mobileuncle tool
and another is using MtkDroid Tool.
Many users cannot install CWM Recovery using mobileuncle
tool, so we have decided to post another method to install CWM recovery on Xolo
A500S. Here is a tutorial on how to install ClockworkMode Recovery on Xolo
A500S using MtkDroid Tool.
Installing CWM Recovery on Xolo A500S :-
- Download MtkDroid
Tool from here.
- Extract
it on your computer and open it.
- Connect
your device to your computer using USB cable and click on "Root button".
- After
few seconds, you can see green light on bottom left side on your computer.
- In
MTK Tool, click on "Backup ROM".
- After
finishing backup, click on "Choose boot.img" and then click
recovery and boot.
- Select
"boot.img" file from previous backup and select yes.
- Then
it will ask to install patched boot to phone, click yes.
- Install
created recovery to phone.That's it.
